Subash Poudel is a dedicated musician and multi-instrumentalist who discovered his love for music during his school years. Beginning in 2008, he pursued his musical journey at Little Angels School, actively participating in various internal and inter-school musical events, including singing and music competitions, as well as performing in orchestral bands. Subash's musical journey continued as he joined Ace Higher Secondary School, where he co-founded the band Chakra Tandav, performing at underground events in Kathmandu's prominent venues like Gaa Hall and Bhrikutimandap.

His passion and talent led him to become the bass guitarist of the progressive rock band White, which he joined alongside renowned guitarist Anil Dhital, Susant Bista and Sahil Risal. Subash spent four years with White, performing over 100 shows across the nation, including the prestigious Silence Festival where they shared the stage with international acts like Freak Kitchen and Mother Rockers Gang.

In 2013, Subash teamed up with his friend Susant to create the Wayam Duo Project, focusing on experimental Nepali folk indie progressive music. Their debut song, "Aaye Baden Ma," featured collaborations with notable Nepali band Kutumba members, showcasing their unique fusion of styles. Subash's dedication to honing his skills led him to learn from Roshan Sharma, a respected guitarist and disciple of Grammy award winner Pandit Bishwa Mohan Bhatta.

Subsequently, Subash joined the band Urjaa with Roshan Sharma, releasing original songs and touring nationally and internationally, including India, Pakistan, and Dubai. In 2022, Subash and Susant's Wayam Duo Project released their debut album "Sunne Lai Sun ko Mala," receiving enthusiastic responses from their fan base. Their single "Udai Lanchu" was a hit, both musically and visually, featuring a collaboration with Fuzz Factory Production for its video.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Subash also contributed to the field of music education, teaching at various international schools in Nepal. Taking a break from teaching, he joined Jazz Production in 2021, where he worked as a music composer, Foley artist, sound designer, and ADR for commercials of prominent national and multinational brands. Subash even played a role of sound recordist in the Nepali feature film "Aina Jhyal Ko Putali," which received an official selection for the Oscar Awards.
Following two years at Jazz Production, Subash founded his production company, Mind Tunes Production, embarking on numerous projects, including background music for feature films. His journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and passion for music and the arts.
